KATHMANDU, Feb 11: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Sunday declined 10.50 points to close at 2,085.82 points.
The market opened at 2,096.32 points and escalated to day’s high at 2,109.32 points in the first 15 minutes of trading. The market, however, went downhill in the last two minutes and it recovered only around one point before it closed for the day.

The sensitive index that measures the performance of ‘A’ class companies plunged 3.89 points. The daily turnover increased to Rs 4.08 billion from Rs 3.21 billion on Thursday.
Three groups including hydropower, development bank and mutual fund had their indices inclined. Out of ten gainers, manufacturing and processing shed 168 points, which was followed by hotels and tourism with a downfall of 88.08 points.
Among individual companies, 91 were recorded as gainers whereas 148 were the losers.
Himalayan Reinsurance Limited with transactions of its shares worth Rs 624.78 million continued to lead the segment. NIC Asia Growth Fund-2 lost the highest of 10 percent of its market value, while Samaj Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited topped the gainers’ list.
