KATHMANDU, June 23: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) on Thursday nosedived with a fall of 45.25 points to close at 1,848.28 points.
The secondary market opened at 1,893.53 points and went to a straight fall throughout the trading hours. The sensitive index that measures the performance of ‘A’ class companies also shed 7.06 points.

All the 13 trading groups landed in the red, with almost all of them losing a double-digit point. The single-day turnover amount, however, escalated to Rs 1.49 billion from mere Rs 843.77 million on Wednesday.
Among the individual companies, Kumari Bank Limited had the largest transaction of its shares worth Rs 95.31 million. Shiva Shree Hydropower Limited lost the highest percent in its shares price while Andhikhola Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited was the top gainer.
