New leadership elected in Patan Jaycees

KATHMANDU, Jan 9: Mijash Chitrakar has been elected unopposed new president of Patan Jaycees for year 2019 amid a function organized last week.


In the program, Suman Krishna Shrestha, 2018 president of JCI Patan handed over the president chain to newly-elected president JC Mijash Chitrakar in the presence of all the past presidents of JCI Patan, read a statement issued by JCI Patan on Tuesday.

For this year, JC Mijash has the goal of expanding the reach of the Patan Jaycees by implementing more trainings, panel discussions and increasing social media presence. 


“For the growth of the organization in both membership and in capacity for donating a larger training, panel discussions and social media presence is needed,” said JC Mijash in his acceptance speech.


The newly-formed elected committee led by Chitrakar includes Past President JC Shrestha, Executive Vice President Daisy Napit, Vice Presidents Dilip Chaudhary, PrabeshMalla, Saffrin Mool, Benisha Khoshi. Similarly, Chitrakar also appointed Prakriti Joshi as secretary general, Rojina Thapa as treasurer, Srijesh Lal Shilpakar as general legal counsel and Regun Maharjan as joint secretary, read the statement.
