KATHMANDU, July 24: The newly-appointed chief minister (CM) of Bagmati Province government, Bahadur Singh Lama, has assumed office.
He was welcomed by the Chief Secretary of the provincial Council of Ministers, Govinda Bahadur Karki, and other officials at his office on Wednesday.

Karki said that other newly appointed ministers also assumed their positions in their respective ministries on Wednesday.
