NIC Asia increases interest rate of ‘Samunnati Bachat Khata’

KATHMANDU, July 11: NIC Asia Bank has increased the interest rate of its new savings account 'Samunnati Bachat Khata' that the bank launched in April, 2017.

KATHMANDU, July 11: NIC Asia Bank has increased the interest rate of its new savings account 'Samunnati Bachat Khata' that the bank launched in April, 2017.


Issuing a statement on Monday the bank said that it has increased the interest rate to 9 percent per annum considering the response from their customers.

This is a measure to assist financial prosperity, the statement said. The bank also gives additional features such as zero minimum balance, free debit card, free internet and SMS banking, free ABBS up to Rs 500,000 per day and free credit card issuance charge on the account, according to the statement.


Currently the bank is providing services from 118 branches across the country, the statement reads.
