NIC Asia launches ‘Samunnati Bachat Khata’

KATHMANDU (REPUBLICA): NIC Asia Bank has launched a new saving account named ‘Samunnati Bachat Khata’. According to the bank, the scheme aims at providing complete banking services to the general customers as it has highest interest rate of 8 percent with no minimum balance requirement.

“The customers under the scheme will also get free debit card, free Internet and SMS banking, free credit card issuance charge and free ABBS for up to 500,000 per day,” a statement issued by the bank said. The bank claims that it has been providing banking services to its customers through 102 branch offices and is planning to expand its branch offices all over the country
