KATHMANDU, Nov 4: Rape victim Niharika Rajput son’s DNA has matched with the rape accused Shiva Raj Shrestha.
According to the High Court in Janakpur, the DNA of Niharika's son and Shrestha's DNA matched in the test conducted as per Rajput's request.
According to the demand of Niharika, who was on hunger strike demanding punishment for Shrestha on rape charge, her son and Shrestha's DNA was tested at the National Forensic Science Laboratory at Khumaltar in Lalitpur.
The High Court, Janakpur had ordered the DNA test of Niharika's son and Shrestha on August 25. The DNA test report has been submitted to the High Court.
