GALESHWOR, Nov 2: Nine hikers including three Spanish nationals who were stranded after missing the route to Mustang from Hidden Valley of Myagdi were rescued by the police.
Four foreigners stranded at Tumling rescued
Mustang Police rescued them via helicopter and they have now reached Jomsom. District Police Office, Mustang informed that the hikers were unable to trace the route to Mustang due to snowstorm. Deputy Superintendent of Police Raj Kumar Dani said three Spanish and six Nepali guides were airlifted to Jomsom Airport as they were stranded on the way.
The chopper belonging to Fishtail Air rescued them to safety. Among them, three Spanish and a Nepali were sent to Kathmandu on Monday. Currently, the areas lying in high altitude in Myagdi and Mustang have witnessed chilling cold with snowfall.
