Nisan and Aaditya into final

KATHMANDU, Nov 7: The Nepali pair comprising of Nisan Shrestha and Aaditya Subedi advanced to the final of boys’ doubles section of the ongoing Kesha Group ANLTA Nepal Asian 14 and Under Tennis Championship Circuit-two on Tuesday.

In the matches played at Satdobato Tennis Court in Lalitpur, Nisan and Aaditya beat India’s Harisharan Baskaran and Sivasamy Ramalingam Nathin Ram 6-2, 6-3. Nisan and Aaditya will face the Indian pair of Anargha Ganguly and Leston Vaz in the summit clash. 




Anargha and Leston overcame Shreeyog Adhikari (Nepal) and Samprit Sharma (India) 6-1, 6-3 in the other last four clash to secure their place in the summit clash. Likewise, the pair of Abhilasha Bista (Nepal) and Ilina Jha (India) has advanced to the girls’ doubles finals. 

Abhilasha and Ilina saw off Nepal’s Isha Shree Shah and Sharvani Shrestha 6-1, 6-3. 

The other finalist of girls’ doubles was the pair of Vaishnavi Adkar (India) and Harsshali Mandakar (India) who recorded 6-2, 6-0 win over Prachi Mantri (India) and Saloni Tamang (Nepal).
