KATHMANDU, Nov 27: NMB Bank has launched Visa Platinum Credit Cards. Issuing a statement on Sunday, the commercial bank said that it has become the second bank in Nepal to introduce Visa Platinum Credit Card.

"The newly launched NMB Visa Platinum credit card offers EMV chip technology -- a convenient and secure way of transaction, along with global acceptance," the bank said in the statement. Cardholders will also get travel accident insurance of Rs 5 million, higher credit limit of Rs 250,000 to Rs 1 million, access to deals, discounts and privileges under Visa Platinum program, and short-term easy loans on card, according to the bank.
