KATHMANDU, April 15: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the price of petroleum products. The NOC has hiked the price of petrol, diesel and kerosene by Rs 3 per liter with effect from Tuesday morning.
According to the press release issued by Nepal Oil Corporation Limited on Monday, the price of petroleum products has been adjusted according to the new purchase price received from Indian Oil Corporation (IOC).

NOC reports that the price of petrol from India has risen by Rs 2.96 per liter, while diesel sees an increase of Rs 3.46 per liter.
Following the adjustment, in the first category, the price of one liter of petrol in Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalwari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj areas has been revised from Rs 172.50 per liter to Rs 175.50 per liter.
Under the second category, the price of a liter of petrol in Surkhet and Dang areas has increased to Rs 177 per liter from Rs 174.50 per liter.
Similarly, under the third category, the price of one liter of petrol in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal areas has increased from Rs 175 per liter to Rs 178 per liter. Similarly, the price of diesel and kerosene per liter has remained at Rs 158, Rs 160 and Rs 161 per liter respectively.
