KATHMANDU, May 31: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced a reduction in the prices of petrol, diesel, and kerosene.
Following a meeting of the NOC Board of Directors on Friday, it was decided that the price of petrol will be reduced by Rs 3 per liter, and the prices of diesel and kerosene will be reduced by Rs 1 per liter, effective from Saturday.

This price adjustment comes in response to the new purchase prices received from Indian Oil Corporation. The reduction also incorporates a Rs 1 per liter green tax, which the government introduced in the new budget.
According to NOC, the purchase price of petrol from Indian Oil Corporation has decreased by Rs 4.42 per liter, while the price of diesel and kerosene has decreased by Rs 2.45 per liter.
