KATHMANDU, April 23: Nepal Republic Media (NRM) Chairman Binod Raj Gyawali has inaugurated the Nagarik Nayak (Nagarik Heroes) 2081 to declare citizen heroes who have contributed to society. He inaugurated the event at Patan Durbar Square by lighting the lamp.
Nepal Republic Media (NRM) is set to honor two exemplary personalities as Nagarik Nayak (Nagarik Heroes) of the Year 2081, for their selfless and inspiring contribution to the society.

Other personalities who were earlier recognized as Nagarik Nayak include Dr Govind KC, Mahabir Pun, Khairun Nisa, Yandira Sapkota, Dr Sanduk Ruit, Rameshwar Prasad Khanal, Ram Prasad Shrestha, Phulkumari Yonjan Shrestha, Pasang Sherpa, Dhurmus Suntali, Satya Mohan Joshi, Poorna Gautam, Pawan Singhaniya, Srijung Shah, Dinesh Tamang, Binod Shahi, Muskan Khatun, Teku Hospital, Rabindralal Chaudhary, Satyanarayan Mahato (Alok), Bishnu Gautam, Chitup Dorji Lama, Sunil Prajapati, Monty Desai and Lakshmi Ghalan.
