KATHMANDU, April 24: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has inaugurated the Nagarik Nayak 2080 to declare civilian heroes who have contributed to the society . Prime Minister Dahal and Nepal Republic Media’s Founder and President Binodraj Gyawali jointly inaugurated the event at the Soaltee Hotel by lighting the lamp.

Nepal Republic Media (NRM) is set to honor three exemplary personalities as Nagarik Nayak (Nagarik Heroes) of the Year 2080 for their selfless and inspiring contribution to the society.
Earlier Dr Govind KC, Mahabir Pun, Khairun Nisa, Yandira Sapkota, Dr Sanduk Ruit, Rameshwar Prasad Khanal, Ram Prasad Shrestha, Phulkumari Yonjan Shrestha, Pasang Sherpa, Dhurmus Suntali, Satya Mohan Joshi, Poorna Gautam, Pawan Sindania Srijung Shah, Dinesh Tamang, Binod Shahi, Muskan Khatun, Teku Hospital, Rabindralal Chaudhary, Satyanarayan Mahato (Alok), Bishnu Gautam, Chitup Dorji Lama were announced as Nagarik Nayak.
