KATHMANDU, May 5: The Nepal Sports Journalist Forum (NSJF) and Sahas Sports have signed a one-year extension deal for the upcoming NSJF Pulsar Sports Award which is scheduled to be held on May 17.
NSJF signs deals with Kelme Nepal, others
NSJF President Mahesh Acharya and Managing Director Janak Neupane of Sahas Sports, sports apparels manufacturer, signed the deal in Kathmandu on Friday. According to the agreement, Sahas will provide sports kits for the event. “NSJF has been boosting the confidence of players even in a situation of difficulties,’’ Neupane said, “Sahas will give continuation to the agreement in upcoming days as well.’’
The People’s Choice Award, one of the eight categories of the ceremony, was unveiled last week. Cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane, volleyball player Man Bahadur Shrestha, footballer Kiran Kumar Limbu, golfer Pratima Sherpa and table tennis player Santoo Shrestha have been short-listed.
