KATHMANDU, June 17: Nepal Volleyball Association on Friday felicitated Nepali women’s volleyball team members with cash prize of Rs 10,000 for securing third position in the 12th South Asian Games held in India in February.
Organizing a function in Kathmandu, the association felicitated volleyball team players, coach and manager with the cash prize on the Olympics Day.

Skipper Binita Budhathoki, Vice-captain Manju Gurung, Aruna Shahi, Kopila Upreti, Nebika Chaudhary, Saraswati Chaudhary, Reshma Bhandari, Usha Bista, Kamala Pun, Kripa Adhikari, Pratibha Mali and Manisha Chaudhary were the players of the team, while Sudesh Kumar Rimal was the coach and Kaushila Khatri was the manager.
National Sports Council Acting Member Secretary Ganga Bahadur Thapa, Nepal Olympic Committee General Secretary Lama Tendi Sherpa and Nepal Volleyball Association President Manoranjan Raman Sharma handed over the prize and certificates of appreciation to the team members.
