Oli hints at reviewing appointment of provincial chief

KATHMANDU, Jan 18: CPN-UML chairperson and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has hinted that the new government that would form by left alliance will review the appointment of new provincial chiefs and the announcement of the temporary capitals.

KATHMANDU, Jan 18: CPN-UML chairperson and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has hinted that the new government that would form by left alliance will review the appointment of new provincial chiefs and the announcement of the temporary capitals.


Speaking with journalists at Tribhuvan International Airport while returning from Bangkok on Thursday, Oli said that the left alliance is not satisfied with the announcement of the name of the capital and chief of all provinces.

He stated that the left alliance would take an appropriate decision regarding the decision of the government and said,” Government has paved out the way following the decision though it was late. But the provincial assembly has right to name the capital of the province. We will take the decision regarding the issue at an appropriate time”.


Likewise, he criticized the government for naming the provincial chief in hazard and reiterated that they will put forward their opinion in near days.
