Oli-led govt fails to live up to people’s expectation: Prakash Man Singh

KATHMANDU, Dec 11: Nepali Congress leader Prakash Man Singh has lashed out at the KP Shrma Oli-led government saying that it completely failed to live up to the expectations of the people.

KATHMANDU, Dec 11: Nepali Congress leader Prakash Man Singh has lashed out at the KP Shrma Oli-led government saying that it completely failed to live up to the expectations of the people.


Speaking at a press meet organized by the Nepal Press Union, Ramechhap chapter at the district headquarters Manthali on Tuesday, leader Singh said that the Oli government breached the diplomatic norms and values by involving in the program organized by the disputed organization.”

“It drew flaks after it exhibited active participation in the Asia Pacific Summit 2018 as if it was itself the organizer," said Singh.  The Summit had been organized by South Korea-based Universal Pace Federation which is itself controversial.


Singh criticized the government saying that it failed to maintain law and order, implement budgets allocated for development works and enact laws required for federalism.


On a different note, Singh also accused the Nepali Congress leadership of being unable to steer the party as per the demands of the time.
