SARLAHI, Jan 24: A man was arrested in possession of a pistol from Kabilasi in Sarlahi district. Arun Mishra,50, of Gaudata municipality-8, Sarlahi was arrested, according to SP Santosh Singh Rathaour at the District Police Office.

Mishra was arrested with arms from Chameliyamai-10 of Kabilasi Municipality. He was carrying a 7.65 mm pistol. Police said they were investigating the case.
Security has been beefed up in Province 2 in view of growing security threats due to illegal smuggling of small arms from neighboring India.
