One held with 10 kg of red sandalwood

GAUSHALA, June 28: Armed Police Force (APF) has arrested a man along with 10 kilograms of red sandalwood from Malibara village of Jaleshwor municipality-3 in Mahottari district  Wednesday morning.

GAUSHALA, June 28: Armed Police Force (APF) has arrested a man along with 10 kilograms of red sandalwood from Malibara village of Jaleshwor municipality-3 in Mahottari district  Wednesday morning. 


He is Ramprit Paswan, 51, of Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City-3 in Dhanusha district, according to the APF Customs and Revenue Company, Jaleshwor, Mahottari.

Deputy Superintendent of APF, Dinesh Malla, said that Paswan had smuggled the red sandalwood to Nepal from India. 


Malla said that Paswan along with the seized red sandalwood were handed over to the Main Customs Office, Jaleshwor, for necessary action.
