PANCHTHAR, Jan 27: A person was killed and three others were critically injured when a tractor met with an accident at a tea garden at Ranitaar -6 of the district this morning.
The accident occurred as the tractor (Me 1 Ta 3690), carrying logs, had overturned and fell down from the road.
The deceased person is identified as 52-year-old Bhim Bahadur Gurung of Ranitaar-6. He died while undergoing treatment at the Pathivara Hospital in Phidim, the District Police Office, Panchthar stated.
Among those injured in the accident, Surya Man Gurung of Ranitaar-6 and Jaya Kumar Rai of Phidim Municipality-3 are receiving treatment at B&C Hospital at Birtamod while Kaman Bahadur Rai of Phidim Municipality-3 is admitted to the District Hospital, Phidim. RSS
