One killed, two injured when a bus and a car collided with parked truck

BUTWAL, Feb 6:  One person died and two others were injured when a bus and a car collided with a truck parked at Anchalpur in Bhairahawa this morning. The bus (Lu 2 B 6038) and the car (Ga 1 Cha 3713), which was going from Butwal to Bhairahawa, collided with the truck (Lu 2 Kha 606) which was parked on the roadside.

BUTWAL, Feb 6:  One person died and two others were injured when a bus and a car collided with a truck parked at Anchalpur in Bhairahawa this morning. The bus (Lu 2 B 6038) and the car (Ga 1 Cha 3713), which was going from Butwal to Bhairahawa, collided with the truck (Lu 2 Kha 606) which was parked on the roadside.


According to the District Traffic Police Office Rupandehi, 21-year-old Harish Tiwari of Bhimad Municipality-5 of Tanahun died in the accident. Similarly, 16-year-old Dipesh Ghimire and 39-year-old Basu Ghimire of Binayi Triveni Rural Municipality-1 of West Nawalparasi were injured in the accident. It is said that they are employees of the same bus.

Tiwari, who was a bus helper, was driving the bus when it met with the accident and he died at Bhairahawa Medical College during treatment, police said. Bus drivers Basu Ghimire and Dipesh Ghimire are undergoing treatment. Around four in the morning, the bus and the car collided with the truck parked in front of the petrol station at Anchalpur. According to the police, although the car was damaged, the people in the car were unharmed.
