KALIKOT, March 15: Online revenue payment system has been launched in Kalikot. The online tax payment system has been launched from Wednesday to make the Digital Nepal framework of the Government of Nepal a success.
Under the online revenue system in Kalikot district, traffic police fine, and charges for passport and other government office revenue payers can pay through online service.
DoRI starts monitoring internal movement of goods
The traffic police had fined businessman Gyanendra Bahadur Shahi and local businessman Narendra Bahadur Thapa who paid the traffic fine through the portal of Government of Nepal, Ministry of Finance, and Comptroller General's Office saying that it could not be paid online.
CDO Majhi said that in the discussion between Mani Raj Pandey, a central member of the Computer Association of Nepal, Chief District Officer Jora Singh Majhi, Information Officer of District Police Office Subraj Bam, Traffic Police Senior Inspector Deepak Bohora, Chief National Commercial Bank Manager Gorakh Bahadur Shahi, Federation of Nepali Journalists Kalikot Branch Secretary Khadananda Adhikari, and journalist Lalit Bista decided that the revenue can be paid through the online system and such vouchers will be valid.
Now the customer can pay the revenue through both online and bank modes. It is possible to determine whether the revenue has been deposited in the account of the office to which the revenue is to be paid, the related bank, and the person paying the revenue.
