The meeting also decided to effectively enforce the odd-even vehicle rule in the Kathmandu Valley.

In the meantime, the government has already decided to restrict the movement of people between 9 pm to 5 am in these districts in order to contain the growing cases of the COVID-19.

Likewise, all passenger vehicles are banned from entering the Kathmandu Valley between 7 pm to 7 am each day. This rule, however, will not apply to vehicles belonging to essential services.
