Over 7,500 new voters enlisted in two weeks

POKHARA, July 30: A total of 7,764 people have registered their names in the biometric voter lists at the Regional Election Office, Kaski, in two weeks.



Regional Election Officer Gangalal Subedi said that 3,796 female and 3,409 male registered their names in the voter list from July 16-29. The Election Commission has launched voters name list collection campaign in view of upcoming election to the provincial assembly and House of Representatives. 



Number of people registering their name in voters name list is increasing in recent days. A total of 829 people registered their name on July 26 while 863 on July 27. The district has one metropolitan city and four rural municipalities. RSS
