DHANGADI, July 3: Mayor Ambika Chalaune of Panchadewal Binayak Municipality of Achham has been arrested for an investigation into the death of 15-year-old Binod Shahi of Panchadewal Binayak Municipality-4.
According to DSP Narayan Dangi of Achham, Chalaune and another person were arrested on Saturday for investigating the incident. At the same time, the number of people arrested for the investigation of Shahi’s death has reached seven. The victim’s family had filed an FIR against 13 people, including the mayor, accusing them of murder.
