KATHMANDU, July 31: The Parliamentary Hearing Special Committee (PHSC) on Sunday decided to discuss with Chief Secretary and Foreign Secretary for allegedly sending agreemo on the names of the recommended ambassadors to the respective countries before the parliamentary hearing is conducted.

The government on April 19 had nominated Nepal's ambassadors to 22 different countries, including 13 political appointees and eight joint secretaries from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

PHSC was scheduled to start the hearing of the recommended envoys today, but the meeting decided to summon the Chief Secretary and the Foreign Secretary tomorrow after media reported that agreemo has been sent on the names of the recommended envoys.

During the meeting, Nepali Congress (NC) lawmaker Prakash Sharan Mahat said that the committee should investigate the issue as the names of the recommend ambassadors have been already sent to the concerned countries.
