Party will respect SC verdict on Phujel case: Chair Dahal

CHITWAN, July 12: Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) Chairman and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has opined for respecting the verdict of the Supreme Court (SC) on the Phujel incident.

CHITWAN, July 12: Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) Chairman and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has opined for respecting the verdict of the Supreme Court (SC) on the Phujel incident. 



Speaking in a press meet on Thursday, Chairman Dahal said that Chhabilal Poudel who is accused of involving in the incident now has surrendered and in jail to create a positive environment in the society to respect the court's verdict. 



He further said he would not make more comments regarding the incident as the further step depends upon another side. 



On a different note, former Prime Minister Dahal said his party had not taken any decision regarding the provincial capital of Province-3. He argued that Chitwan might be a better option for the provincial capital in his personal view. 



He further said that talks with doctors' association regarding the demands of Dr Govinda KC were in progress but all demands of KC could not be addressed. Parliament had the authority of the final decision in this issue, according to him. RSS
