Paul Shah to be kept in custody for another 12 days

KATHMANDU, March 6: Actor Paul Shah, who was arrested on rape charges, will be held in custody for another 12 days as the District Court Tanahu, extended his remand into custody as demanded by the District Police Office, Tanahu.

KATHMANDU, March 6: Actor Paul Shah, who was arrested on rape charges, will be held in custody for another 12 days as the District Court Tanahu, extended his remand into custody as demanded by the District Police Office, Tanahu.

Earlier, the court had allowed the police to keep the actor in custody for five days for further investigation, after the victim filed the case against the actor. 


The popular 17-year old singer filed the rape case accusing Shah of raping her under the pretext of love. The victim claimed that Shah had promised to marry her to lure her into the ‘love-affair’.
