KATHMANDU, May 27: The People's Representative of Kathmandu Metropolitan City has cleaned all 32 wards today on the occasion of one year since assuming office. Ward no 1-Kamalpokhari, 2-Narayan Gopalmarg, 3-Lajimpat, 4-Baluwatar and 5, 6 and 7 have been cleaned.
Similarly, Rabinman Shrestha, head of KMC Environment Department, said that the cleanup has been done in Pashupati area of Ward No. 8, Battisputli of Ward No-9, Ward Office premises of Ward No-11, Maitighar Mandla of Ward No. 11, Onde of Ward No 12, Tahachal Bridge-13 ward, Kuleshwar Volleyball Ground-14 ward, Bhagwan Pau- 16 ward at Sohrakhute Chowk.

Similarly, Ward No 17 Dallu Bridge, 18 Ward Office Premises, 19-Damai Toll, 20- Bhimsen Street, 21-Bhimsenthan, 27-Asan, 28-Kamaladi Ganeshthan, 29-Dhungedhara, 30-Ward Office, 31-Ward Office Bhimsen Gola and Ward No 32-Koteshwar Chowk (Police Circle) will also be cleaned.
KMC's goal is to effectively complete the program with the maximum participation of all stakeholders of the ward, including all representatives and employees of the ward in the special sanitation program. The local level elections were completed on May 13, 2022.
