People should not vote for parties that seek to win election also through foul means: Chairman Timilsina

BAGLUNG, April 9: National Assembly Chairman Ganesh Prasad Timalsina has said that the public should not vote to the political parties that are looking to secure a victory at any cost in the upcoming local-level elections.

BAGLUNG, April 9: National Assembly Chairman Ganesh Prasad Timalsina has said that the public should not vote to the political parties that are looking to secure a victory at any cost in the upcoming local-level elections.


Inaugurating the Chaitrastami Fair at Baglung on Saturday, Chairman Timalsina said that the elections should be fair. He said that it is necessary for the government, political parties, party members and the candidates to work together to create conditions conducive for people to vote freely and impartially. He argued that in a democracy brought by the people through their sacrifice, people should be able to vote for the person they want.

Former State Minister Champadevi Khadka and Mayor Janakraj Poudel, among other officials, were present in the program. The fair will be held till April 11.
