KATHMANDU, July 14: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced that petroleum products from its depots will not be sold or distributed on July 16. According to the NOC, this decision has been taken due to the closure of the billing system for updating data in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system as the new fiscal year begins.
According to Manoj Kumar Thakur, deputy director of the NOC, the billing system will be closed on July 16. Thakur said that they have to close the billing system for a short period to update data in the ERP system. Despite this closure, there will be no issues with distributing petroleum products.
Import bills on petroleum products declined by Rs 11.07 billion...
There is no public holiday on July 17, so entrepreneurs can collect petroleum products starting from that day, as reported by Thakur. He said that problems can arise only when there are frequent holidays. However, this time, there won't be any such issues.
Entrepreneurs can collect petroleum products more than usual tomorrow. Therefore, there will not be any issues on July 17th, Thakur added.
