KATHMANDU, March 11: A group of medical students are on a relay hunger strike demanding a safe environment for studying at Maitighar area in Kathmandu.
The agitating students have demanded the government to create a safe learning environment for the medical students.
Relay hunger strike in support of Dr KC in Chitwan
A group of medical students enrolled at Nobel Medical College in Biratnagar and Kathmandu Medical College in Kathmandu are staging hunger strike as the college has demanded thm extra amount or expel them from the college. Earlier, the students complained that they were threatened and mentally harassed for raising their voice against the extra fee charged to them.
Along with the protest of medical students, a group of farmers have also staged demonstrations at Maitighar demanding compensation to them for the damage caused to the farmer's DY-28 paddy.
