The meeting is scheduled to decide on the fate of acting Chief Justice Deepak Raj Joshee.

According to the parliamentary regulations, any recommendation can be rejected by two-thirds (10 members) of the committee. Previously, the meeting of the PHSC was suspended twice. The meeting was then called for Monday. However, the meeting failed to make any decision as main opposition party Nepali Congress asked for more time for further discussion.
