PJ Club gets new leadership

KATHMANDU, Sept 25: The 11th general meeting of the Photojournalists (PJ) Club Nepal concluded on Saturday, electing a new working committee. The assembly elected a woman leader for the first time as the president of the club. Shruti Shrestha was elected the president of the club.

KATHMANDU, Sept 25: The 11th general meeting of the Photojournalists (PJ) Club Nepal concluded on Saturday, electing a new working committee. The assembly elected a woman leader for the first time as the president of the club. Shruti Shrestha was elected the president of the club.


Similarly, the meeting picked Dipesh Shrestha for the post of vice president, Prakash Chandra Timalsena as general secretary, Amul Thapa as secretary, Dwarika Prasad Kafle as treasurer and Bikash Dware as the spokesperson.

Barsha Shah, Nisha Bhandari, Lakshmi Prasad Ngakhusi, Skanda Gautam. Angad Dhakal and Dipen Shrestha were unanimously elected members.


Meanwhile, PJ Club felicitated Bijaya Rai and Barsha Shah for becoming elected as Associate members of the Federation of Nepali Journalists(FNJ).
