PM Dahal instructs not to declare public holiday for any programs he is attending

KATHMANDU, Jan 3: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has instructed the concerned authority not to announce a public holiday for any public program he would be attending in coming days and not to allow participation of children in the program.

KATHMANDU, Jan 3: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has instructed the concerned authority not to announce a public holiday for any public program he would be attending in coming days and not to allow participation of children in the program.


PM Dahal's direction came in the wake of the news report of Sunapati Rural Municipality in Ramechhap district declaring a public holiday for a program that the PM would be attending on January 4, according to Govinda Acharya, PM's Press Advisor.

Following the instruction of the PM, the rural municipality is also reported to have withdrawn its earlier decision to grant holiday for the same.
