PM Dahal reaches New Delhi

NEW DELHI, May 31: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has reached India's capital New Delhi for an official visit.

NEW DELHI, May 31: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has reached India's capital New Delhi for an official visit.


PM Dahal, who left for India on a Nepal Airlines flight on Wednesday afternoon, landed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport at 2:40 PM.

PM Dahal and five other ministers are also participating in the visiting team. The team includes Physical Infrastructure Minister Prakash Jwala, Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Shakti Bahadur Basnet, Foreign Minister NP Saud, Finance Minister Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat, Industry Minister Ramesh Rijal, daughter Ganga Dahal and others.


PM Dahal was welcomed by the Minister of State for External Affairs of the Government of India, Meenakshi Lekhi.


To welcome PM Dahal, officials of the Ministry of External Affairs along with Minister of State for External Affairs Lekhi and Ambassador of Nepal to India Shankar Sharma also reached the airport.


Prime Minister Dahal will hold bilateral talks with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House on Thursday.
