PM Deuba extends condolence over demise of Province minister Thapa

KATHMANDU, Nov 9: Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed his sorrow over the demise of Province 1 Minister Shekhar Chandra Thapa.

KATHMANDU, Nov 9: Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed his sorrow over the demise of Province 1 Minister Shekhar Chandra Thapa. 


Minister Thapa, who was also NC candidate for province assembly from Morang-3 for the upcoming elections under the Province Assembly, passed away on Wednesday while undergoing treatment at Noble Medical College in Biratnagar. Thapa was struggling with pneumonia, according to his family members.

Prime Minister Deuba took to Twitter and offered condolences over the demise of Thapa, the sitting minister of the province for forest, environment and soil conservation.
