KATHMANDU, Feb 20: Former speaker and a key leader of the Oli-led faction of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Subash Chandra Nembang said that Prime Minister KP Shamra Oli is 200 percent convinced that the Supreme Court will uphold his House dissolution move.
Nembang, who was also a member of the dissolved House of Representatives (HoR) and chairman of the Constituent Assembly, said so while addressing a rally organized by the Oli-led faction of the party in Biratnagar on Saturday. “The PM is convinced that parliament won’t be restored and I trust him.”

Nembang, however, didn’t clearly mention whether the House dissolution move by PM Oli was in line with the spirit of the Constitution of Nepal.
While indirectly defending the PM’s move to dissolve the House, he said that the elections are inevitable. “Let’s prepare for the April-May polls without any hesitation.”
