NC Central Working Committee (CWC) member Dr Koirala said that Prime Minister Oli has lost all his moral grounds to stay any further as the prime minister after his undemocratic and unconstitutional move to dissolve the parliament was revoked by the parliament. “The Supreme Court’s verdict has helped to bring the constitution on track. The court has fulfilled its responsibility to safeguard the constitution despite immense pressure and threats,” he said.

Dr Koirala said that the historic verdict has taken the country towards political stability. “The apex court verdict should serve as a reminder for any rulers in the future not to take any such undemocratic and unconstitutional move,” he further said.
