TAPLEJUNG, Nov 19: Prime Minister K P Oli is visiting the Ghunsa area in Taplejung district on Sunday. District Administration Office, Taplejung has received information about the visit that was earlier scheduled for Friday. The visit was put off in the eleventh hour amid deepening intra-party rift within the ruling Nepal Communist Party(NCP)
Chief District Officer (CDO) Jharendra Prasad Chapagain said they have received verbal information about the prime minister’s visit to Ghunsa on Sunday.

CDO Chapagain said a team of security personnel that includes the district chief has left for Ghunsa on Thursday to make necessary security arrangements for the visit of the prime minister. “We are about to leave for Ghunsa as we just received information about the visit of the prime minister,” said CDO Chapagain.
Prime Minister Oli is visiting Ghunsa to inaugurate the Community Health Unit established by the Ghunsa Foundation, understand the hardships and difficulties faced by people in the region and inspect Nepal-China boundaries. Sources said Prime Minister Oli is also scheduled to visit Sandakpur in Ilam after visiting Ghunsa village.
