Pokhara: Unified Socialist candidate Acharya leading mayoral race with 5,137 votes

KATHMANDU, May 16: CPN (Unified Socialist) candidate Dhanraj Acharya is in the lead in the mayoral race of Pokhara Metropolitan City. So far, Acharya has received 5,137 votes while his closest rival Krishna Bahadur Thapa from the CPN-UML has received 4,545 votes.

KATHMANDU, May 16: CPN (Unified Socialist) candidate Dhanraj Acharya is in the lead in the mayoral race of Pokhara Metropolitan City. So far, Acharya has received 5,137 votes while his closest rival Krishna Bahadur Thapa from the CPN-UML has received 4,545 votes.

Similarly, Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) candidate for the same post Shankar Khanal has received 600 votes while independent candidate Khadkaraj Poudel has received 183 votes so far.
