Police arrest four fraudsters claiming to be anti-corruption activists

KATHMANDU, June 18: The police have arrested four people who illegally established an organization under the guise of being anti-corruption activists. The arrested individuals are Raju Sunar, Adarsh Chhetri, Asmita Khatri, and Prem Prasad Shrestha.

KATHMANDU, June 18: The police have arrested four people who illegally established an organization under the guise of being anti-corruption activists. The arrested individuals are Raju Sunar, Adarsh Chhetri, Asmita Khatri, and Prem Prasad Shrestha.

According to the police, the group founded an organization called Abhiyan 2080 in Gokarneshwar Municipality, purportedly to fight corruption and irregularities. However, they engaged in illegal activities such as demanding information illegally and threatening people. The Police Circle, Bouddha, acting on a special tip-off, conducted a search and arrested the suspects.
