KATHMANDU, July 25: An investigation has started regarding the death of senior police sub-inspector Ujjwal Paudel at Asha Hotel in Baglung's Badigad Rural Municipality-6. A team led by Superintendent of Police, Yogendra Kumar Khadka, head of the District Police Office, Baglung, has started an investigation into the incident.
Paudel was found dead at Asha Hotel and Restaurant at 12 o'clock on Monday night. After getting the information about the incident, the police team that went from the headquarters Baglung Bazar for investigation reached the spot only at 11 AM on Tuesday.

"The local police office had sealed the hotel, after we arrived, we called the family and started the rest of the investigation," said Superintendent of Police Khadka, "Information about the incident will come out soon."
Senior Sub-Inspector Paudel, chief of the Bhimgithe Police Office, was found dead in the nearby hotel. Khadka said that Paudel's body was lying on the ground floor of the hotel.
According to the police station, Paudel had gone for patrol with the police station Khar team. Preliminary investigation has shown that he had gone to Bhimgithe after sending another policeman to the office at 10 o'clock in the night to have lunch at the hotel. The police have detained the hotel owner and his mother.
After learning about the incident, the police arrested the mother and son and started an investigation.
