KATHMANDU, Jan 28: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has arrested a police official with Rs 100,000 in bribe from Bardiya.
Acting on a tip-off, an anti-graft body deployed from Tangal, Kathmandu arrested ASI Janma Adhikari on Sunday from the check post of Bardiya National Park with the evidence of taking bribe amount stated above.

According to the press release issued by the CIAA, ASI Adhikari had taken the bribe promising the service seeker he would help dismiss the case.
The anti-graft-body said they are investigating the case after taking Adhikari under control.
