KATHMANDU, June 11: Police opened fire while arresting a member of the gang involved in drug trafficking in Kathmandu.

A team deputed by the Narcotics Control Bureau opened fire while arresting a drug dealer in Shambhu Marg area near the main gate of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). It is said that the young man who was trying to escape was shot under the knee of his left leg.
A police source said that he was injured in the incident and was sent to Kathmandu Medical College for treatment.
