KATHMANDU, Oct 3: The Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO), operating under the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, has taken decisive action by blacklisting a dozen companies due to unsatisfactory performance. These blacklisted companies will face a suspension ranging from one to three years, during which they are prohibited from participating in any public procurement process.
The companies that have been banned for a period of three years include M/S Sakil Haider Engineers and Construction, led by Sakil Haider, M/S Shankarmali Construction Services, led by Deepak Sapkota, and M/S Sunaula Khimti Construction, led by Dharmaraj Bhandari. The recommendation for their blacklisting was made by the Road Improvement and Development Project Office of Dolakha.
PPMO blacklists two dozen companies
Other companies subjected to a three-year suspension include M/S Sipal Hyderabad, with Sharda Adhikari and Pravej Khan as key personnel, Safbon Water Service Shanghai, ISG Information Service Group, with Deepraj Emmanuel as the main figure, Arvan Construction Chitwan, led by Shatakt Sharan Gole Abhishek.
Companies such as Shivalaya Builders Makwanpur, led by Nirman Neupane, Sky Builders Pvt Ltd, led by Yakshadhwaj Karki, Waiwa & Lama Construction, led by Bharatsingh Waiwa, Janaki Construction Services Janakpur, led by Ravindra Kumar Mandal, have been blacklisted for two years.
Furthermore, Nagarjuna Construction, led by Gokarna Prasad Pandit, Shankaramali Construction Service, led by Deepak Sapkota, Rupandehi Builders and Construction Kathmandu, led by Netra Prasad Neupane, T.E.Bhu, led by Til Bahadur Oli, Construction Services Rolpa, Madhav Ghimire-led Kashyap Construction Services, and Umesh Shrestha-led Eco Visionary Pvt Ltd Gwarko Lalitpur have also been banned for a specified period.
Lastly, the blacklist includes Mahendra Yadav of Mahendra Construction Services Saptari, M/S Construction and Engineering Consultant, led by Khemraj Acharya, Everything Solution Construction Jhapa, led by Aindra Kumar Thapa, Gaurati Bhimsen Construction Services Sindhupalchowk, led by Surendra Tamang, Saipal Automobiles Dadeldhura, led by Gyanendra Saud, Green World Construction, led by Krishna Gupta, and Arjun Chaudhary-led Jayas Construction.
