Pramod Shrestha scales Sagarmatha to spread awareness against child marriage

KATHMANDU, May 18: Pramod Shrestha "Goofy", the only Royal Enfield Veteran Solo Rider of Nepal, has successfully climbed Mt Sagarmatha (8848.86 meters)  on the morning of May 15, 2022.

KATHMANDU, May 18: Pramod Shrestha "Goofy", the only Royal Enfield Veteran Solo Rider of Nepal, has successfully climbed Mt Sagarmatha (8848.86 meters)  on the morning of May 15, 2022. 


Shrestha scaled the top of the world to spred awareness against child marriage under his campaign ‘Teach 8848 Girls Against Child Marriage.’ At an event organized by Alpha Automotive Pvt Ltd, Director of Triveni Group, Harsh Sanghai handed over the Royal Enfield flag to Shrestha to support his campaign.

The flag was hoisted at the top of the world by Shrestha, who reached the mountain with 10 other climbers from various countries.
