Prashant Memorial Society acknowledges three arts students

Amidst an event held at Nepal Art Council, Baber Mahal on Sunday, three graduates were awarded 'Prashant Talent Scholarship'.  Prashant Memorial Society has been granting scholarships to fine arts graduates since 2003.

Amidst an event held at Nepal Art Council, Baber Mahal on Sunday, three graduates were awarded 'Prashant Talent Scholarship'.  Prashant Memorial Society has been granting scholarships to fine arts graduates since 2003.

Soni Rai from Lalitkala Campus, Hariram Adhikari from Srijana College of Fine Arts, and Neelam Bhurtel from Kathmandu University -- Center for Fine Arts and Design, were presented the scholarship along with a cash prize of Rs 15,000 and certificate by the event's chief Guest -- Prof Dr Abhi Subedi.


According to the press statement issued by the society, the inauguration of a solo art exhibition of the late artist -- Prashant Shrestha -- was also conducted on the same occasion.
