POKHARA, Feb 4: Preparations for the first ever meeting of the Province Assembly of Province 4 scheduled for Monday have reached the final state, said the Parliament Secretariat officials.
The venue for the meeting is the assembly hall of the Nadipur-based Town Development Training Centre.

Chairs have been arranged for the PA members, while other 60 participants and 30 journalists will have seats from the top row. Some of the PA members of the province have already reached Kaski district for participation, said Joint Secretariat of the Secretariat Jibraj Budhathoki.
The province has a total of 11 districts including Gorkha, Lamjung, Kaski, Tanahun, Syangja, Nawalparasi, Mustang, Myagdi, Baglung, Parbat and Manang.
As part of the preparations, an all-party meeting was held on Saturday, which agreed to a dress code for the SA members. A male SA member is supposed to wear daura suruwal and coat or a suit or clothing that identifies his ethnicity. Likewise, a woman SA member is to wear sari, blouse or a suit or clothing that identifies her ethnicity.
The Monday meeting, which is expected to last around one hour and 15 minutes, will see the province chief reading the call of the meeting in line with the parliamentary norms, endorse an internal rules of procedures and select a presidium to be chaired by a person in the absence of SA Speaker, said Budhathoki.
The all-party meeting also agreed on allowing only 11 SA members (three from each big political parties including at least a woman, and one from each fringe parties including at least a woman) to deliver speech at the meeting. RSS
